websitehaus.de
My web and app studio for small businesses. I run every project on my own, from the first conversation to launch, and ship a native app when a business needs more than a website.

Context
This year I started websitehaus.de, designing websites and building apps for other businesses. After years of large backend systems for one employer, I wanted to work directly with the people who use what I build, and to hear about it when they don’t like something.
I run it in my free time, alongside my role at SMS GmbH, with the same engineering standards I hold at work, at a scale where one person can own the whole thing.
Problem
Small businesses often need more than a nice page. Tehran Grill, a Berlin restaurant, wanted QR-code ordering at the table, with a backend behind it that holds the menu and the incoming orders. Perserwich needed a food-ordering platform for Persian cuisine.
Constraints
- One person, end to end. From the first client conversation through concept and build to launch.
- Free time. The studio runs alongside my role at SMS GmbH.
- Direct feedback. I work with the people who use what I build, and hear about it when they don’t like something.
What I did
- Designed and built the websites, responsive from the start.
- Built the backend for Tehran Grill’s QR-code table ordering: it holds the menu catalogue and the incoming table orders.
- Built Perserwich, a food-ordering web platform for Persian cuisine, and run it end to end.
- Native apps when a site isn’t enough: Android in Kotlin, iOS in Swift.
Result
